Multiple Sclerosis: The Disease That Killed Zara Gretti

Until now, I never knew how dangerous multiple sclerosis was. I thought it was one of those illnesses that would fade with time till it claimed her life. I can't deny that I was ignorant about the situation but I have decided to enlighten myself about it. So, here we go;

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS:
  This is an inflammatory disease which affects the brain and spinal cord by damaging the covers of the nerve cells. It interrupts the communication brought about by the nervous system thereby resulting in physical, mental or psychiatric problems among other signs and symptoms. The name multiple sclerosis refers to scars (sclerae—better known as plaques or lesions) in particular in the white matter of the brain and spinal cord.
  The cause of this disease is not yet clear but scientists suspect genetics and infection from the environments as possible causes. It is usually diagnosed based on the present signs and symptoms in addition to medical test results. However, there is no known cure for multiple sclerosis. Treatments are taken to control the situation after an attack and to prevent subsequent ones. The disease usually begins between the ages of 20 and 50 and is twice as common in women as in men.
  You can imagine the trauma she passed through. It is well with you Zara Love, God Rest Your Soul! It is also surprising how much wasn't said about her all the while she was hospitalised unlike OJB Jezreel as if she was never part of the Nigerian music industry. Despite her struggle, she was able to raise some money for her treatment. Quite Sad! Nevertheless, I'm stil rocking your unique single - Aboko ku. Adieu!!
