It is quite surprising how much we stand to gain from some foods that we might regard as junk or dessert but we love to eat them anyway. I'm a huge fan of this dairy product and I hv become so obssessed with it that I decided to embark on a research to actually back up my undying affinity towards it and I decided to share a few among many facts that I came across.
1. Facial Scrub:
With a mixture of almond fruits (powder) or oil, honey and some lemon juice, yoghurt can be used for exfoliating the top layers of the epidermis. It reduces wrinkles. It can be used to enhance the skin from discoloration, smoothens it. Also bear in mind that olive oil can be used in place of almond oil. It's your choice.
2. Superb Cleaner:
For some of us that have possessions made of brass and are worried about why they are no longer appealing in the eyes as they were when we got them initially, do not worry - Yoghurt to the Rescue! Yoghurt is said to contain lactic acid, a component for chemical peels, hence eating away the tarnish. Your brass possessions can regain their lustre by: Getting a clean and wet cloth, drop some tablespoons of plain yoghurt on it, use it to rub on the brass objects until they become shiny. After that, wipe off excess yoghurt by washing with soap and hot water. Wipe with a clean cloth to obtain the desired spark.
3. Blood Pressure Regulator:
Consuming fat-free and low-fat yogurt may help lower your risk of developing high blood pressure. Special proteins in dairy regulate BP, and high levels of calcium, magnesium, and potassium contribute to the blood pressure-lowering effect.
4. Boosts Sexual Libido In Men:
Red Bull might give you wings, but yogurt gives you bigger cojones. According to research, yoghurt contains probiotic microbes which reduces fat, makes one look slimmer and healthier. Another benefit of yogurt is the improvement of semen quality in men. So when next your girlfriend offers you yogurt, kindly accept .
5. Controls Possible Risk of Vaginal Infection:
The normal pH of a vagina is 4.0 - 4.5. Studies have shown that women with diabetes are more susceptible to yeast vagina infection also known as Candida. As a result, the pH rises to 6.0. However, on consumption of yoghurt, there have been significant changes in pH of the vagina from 6.0 to 4.0. It is also necessary to note that this is possible only when yoghurts contain active cultures. Eating yoghurts without active cultures will have no effect on the pH of the vagina.
I hope I'v been able to entertain you with a few facts about my favorite form of beverage.
Thanks for your time!
